Extra Virgin Olive Oil is the finest quality olive oil with an excellent odor, the most flavorful, densely nutrient and the most expensive. This premium-grade olive oil is cold-pressed at an optimal temperature not exceeding 27⁰C/80⁰F to ensure its freshness and purity, as it has not been exposed to any external heat, chemicals, or other refining processes. Extra Virgin Olive Oil is different from other olive oils because it must be less than or equal to 0.08% acidity, making it the lowest acidity when compared to other olive oils. It contains all the natural antioxidants, vitamins E and K, minerals, and polyphenols that are essential for a healthy diet.

Elenitsa's Extra Virgin Olive Oil is truly a multi-purpose product that can be used for both beauty and culinary needs.

To ensure the quality and flavor of Elenitsa’s Extra Virgin Olive Oil, it’s best to store it away from direct sunlight in a cool, dark place. Our product is packaged in a UV protective coated bottle which preserves the quality of the Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Light plays an important role and can cause significant deterioration if not stored properly. The ideal temperature is between 57°F - 68°F. Make sure to keep the lid tightly closed when not in use and store away from direct heat. With proper storage, it is recommended to consume your Elenitsa’s Extra Virgin Olive Oil within three months of opening to ensure the highest level of nutrients and polyphenols.

Currently we offer our “Special Select" custom blend predominantly consisting of the distinguished Lianolia olive variety known for its naturally high yields of antioxidants and 99.9% of it being found exclusively on the island of Corfu.

Another well-known variety offered on the island of Corfu is Koroneiki. It mainly exists in other parts of Greece in the Peloponnese region, however over time, it has made its way to the island and Elenitsa’s also cultivates and harvests the Koroneiki variety. It is noted that the organoleptic characteristics of this variety differs from region to region. Our olive groves are in close proximity to the sea and the soil is quite rocky, all contributing to the final taste and organoleptic characteristics of our EVOO as described below in the “Special Select” description.
